After distillation, Cachaça João Mendes Ouro is aged for 04 years in European oak barrels, this period of rest refines its aroma and other properties of the wood such as an aromatic bouquet of chestnuts and spices, with a lasting aftertaste that makes it voluntarily recognized by its connoisseurs and trainers of opinion.
